TODD

Male Dog aged 6 months.

Tod is a lovely, affectionate boy who was found as a stray and never reclaimed. Perhaps he was a failed gundog as he lacks confidence and would perhaps not have been shaping up as a working dog. He certainly has the energies of a working dog, however, so will need an active and interesting lifestyle, as well as an owner ready, willing and able to train him in all the basics that he may have missed out on. He is good with other dogs, but has no history of living with cats. He also has no history of living with children, so although he is a friendly chap, we would not wish to place him with youngsters under 10 years. Tod can be a little shy at first, and it is likely he has seen the less pleasant side of human nature, so we would like to place him with a present or previous dog owner to help restore his confidence. As with any young dog, he will need company most of the time.
