RUBY

Female Dog aged 2 years 7 months.

Ruby was taken into care by an animal warden, after coming from a very hard life where she endured a very difficult time. She was then taken into the home of an experienced fosterer until she could come to DBARC, and is now in great shape physically and emotionally, and is a total poppet! Although she enjoys her walks, she also really enjoys a lovely cuddle, and loves just to sit next to people on the sofa for a fuss! The fosterer had lots of other dogs, but Ruby took very little notice of them, preferring human company. She was, however, fascinated by the house cat, and although not likely to harm a cat, she is not really suitable to be rehomed with one either. Ruby has not lived with children in her past home, so we would not wish to place her with youngsters under 10 years although she is friendly and happy to have children around her. Although snuggling in the warm is her first priority, she will also need lots of walks, and will need company most of the time.
