COOKIE

Female Dog aged 2 years 2 months.

Poor little girl, she was callously given into a rescue by her owners who didn't want her because they had got a new dog and didn't want her anymore as they thought she may be pregnant. She came to DBARC where it was indeed confirmed she was pregnant, but very sadly needed a caesarian to remove her one tiny puppy. As Cookie had no milk to offer the little one, her puppy is now being hand reared. Little Cookie is now fully recovered from her surgery, and will need lots and lots of extra love. She is a sweet girl, good with other dogs and very loving with most people she meets, but some people do worry her and she then shows her real chihuahua characteristics and can be very anti!! For this reason we would not want her to go to a home with children under 12 years either resident or regularly visiting. We also feel she needs an experienced dog owning family - she is not the dog for novice dog owners. After such an awful start in life - we hope she finds her forever family very soon and starts her life as a much loved compainion.
